(AGC)

Students with disabilities must have the opportunity to learn and be tested on the same curriculum as that provided to students without disabilities.

(APE)

Adequate Yearly Progress

(AYP)

All school campuses, school districts, and states are evaluated in three areas (reading, language arts, math) and graduation rates in high schools and attendance rates in middle and elementary school.
Admission, Review, and Dismissal Committee

(ARD Committee)

Committee composed of a student’s parent, school personnel who are involved with the student that determines student’s eligibility  to receive special education services and develops student’s IEP.
